Hello, my name is Marie Carr and I’m a master esthetician here at Sarah Hamilton Face. Today I’ll be talking about the diamond moxie, which is a treatment where we incorporate BBL our broadband light with our non-ablative fractionated laser treatment. Moxie. Our patients have been loving this treatment with minimal to no downtime, can even pop in for a lunchtime treatment and leave with sunscreen on protected and ready for your day. We usually like patients to do around three to four treatments depending on your end goals. It’s even a wonderful pre rejuvenation treatment for patients that just are on the younger side, have never done lasers and want to dip their toe in the water of lasers. A diamond moxie treatment can decrease the appearance of your pores, can help uneven pigmentation and tone and texture of your skin, and just leave you feeling glowy and dewy and rejuvenated. You can do either of the treatments BBL broadband, light, or moxie as a standalone, but when you combine them in the diamond procedure, you’re getting the benefits of the light, which epigenetically helps your cells produce younger genes and express younger, as well as the topical application of the Moxie, which is going to help the uneven pigmentation and skin tone and texture. Both men and women have been loving this treatment. Give us a call to schedule your consultation today.

FAQ’s:
The MOXI uses micro-pulses of fractionated laser energy to target pigment, vascularity, texture and pore size. Depending on the patient’s needs, the MOXI can also be paired with the BBL.
Our providers will apply a topical lidocaine numbing for both treatments. In addition, a Zimmer chiller can also be utilized to keep skin cool during treatment, which also helps with discomfort.
Patients often describe the laser as a warm sandpaper feeling. Typically there is minimal discomfort due to the topical numbing cream. After the laser is done, skin may feel hot and tight and patients may experience swelling.
