Developed by Sciton, one of the most renowned and advanced names in aesthetics, comes HALO, a hybrid fractional laser that merges two laser technologies to revitalize the skin. Simultaneously delivering a non-ablative 1470 nm and an ablative 2490 nm wavelength to the same microscopic treatment zone, HALO delivers an unmatched improvement in the appearance of aging skin. This treatment grants unparalleled results compared to other forms of laser light treatment in virtually half the time.
HALO offers several unique proprietary technologies:
The 2940 nm wavelength targets the epidermis, the top layer of the skin, and can be tuned from 20 to IOOµm to precisely vaporize tissue in a controlled manner to address textural issues and pore size. The 1470 nm wavelength targets the dermis, the thickest layer of the skin, and can be tuned from 250 to 7OOµm to address deeper sun damage, stimulate collagen, and remove other dermal pigmentary issues. Each wavelength can be tuned independently for precise coverage and depth.
What are some common skin concerns that we can treat with HALO?
- Visible effects of aging
- Dark spots and other pigmented lesions
- Facial wrinkles and fine lines
- Enlarged pores
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Acne scarring
- And more
Our skin specialists recommend anywhere from 1-3 treatment sessions in order to achieve the best results. However, the number of treatments you may need will depend on what you are looking to address with this option.
Many patients have been able to notice an improvement in their skin within 4-5 days of their treatment session. The most visible results typically develop within 2-3 weeks and continue to improve for several months with an optimal treatment plan. Ultimately, results will vary from person to person.
Hey everyone. I’m Christina. I’m a DNP here at Sarah Hamilton Face. Today I’m going to talk to you about the newest treatment that we have on the face menu, the Halo Facelift. The Halo Facelift is a combination treatment that includes A BBL Potenza and a halo laser. BBL is a light therapy that targets skin tone and pigment to reduce the appearance of age spots, sunspots and red tones caused by underlying vascularity. Potenza is our radio frequency microneedling device. That’s one of our favorite treatments here at face and one of our best sellers. Potenza targets mild to moderate skin laxity to improve loose skin and the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, and wrinkles. The last step of our Halo facelift is the halo. Halo is our high fractional laser that uses both ablative and non ablative wavelengths for skin resurfacing. The Halo Facelift is going to be our most aggressive treatment that’s going to give you maximum results for your skin with minimal downtime to see if this treatment is right for you. Please come in for a consultation. We can’t wait to see you.

FAQ’s:
What does the HALO treat?
The HALO is known as the “holy grail” of skin treatments. The HALO treats vascular lesions, pigmentation and textural issues all in one modality. Depending on the patient’s needs, some providers recommend the combination of BBL and HALO for an even more dramatic result.
Do I need to be numb for the HALO?
Our providers will apply a topical lidocaine numbing for both treatments. In addition, a Zimmer chiller can also be utilized to keep skin cool during treatment, which also helps with discomfort.
What does the HALO feel like?
Patients often describe the laser as a warm sandpaper feeling. Typically there is minimal discomfort due to the topical numbing cream. After the laser is done, skin may feel hot and tight and patients may experience swelling.
