I, like many women, found myself at a certain age, and there were times that I would wake up in the morning and I’d look in the mirror and I’d think, I don’t recognize myself. What happened? I looked so tired. I didn’t feel tired inside, and so I thought it is time to do something. I needed a refresh. I did my research and I found Sarah Hamilton. From the minute I entered, I felt welcomed, relaxed, calm, in good hands. It’s perhaps a little risky to trust your face to someone that you don’t know, and oftentimes you see people and you can tell that they’ve had things done. Didn’t want to have that happen to me, I love her subtle, targeted artistry. The character lines are still there, but there’s been an easing and my skin, it glows again. I feel radiant. I didn’t wanna do anything that changed the character of who I was. I just wanted to feel as young outside as I felt inside. Very soon, I’m going to be 71 years old and I’ve got a lot of life to live. I would, and I have recommended Sarah to everyone. I know the procedures she offers, the technologies that she has researched and provides are the best of the best. She wants the best for every single one of her clients. You know, there are a lot of people like me, I’m sure, that wake up and feel that feeling of I’m not myself anymore, and yet they don’t want to be restructured or do something so significant that it takes away their personality. I dealt with this my whole life, it’s just pretty nice to walk out in my house now and not have to feel like I’m being stared at for reasons I don’t want. [Music] Oh god, why am I crying? I’m Brie. I’ve struggled with acne my whole life and nothing seemed to have worked. I did every prescription product under the sun, I’ve tried every over-the-counter item you could think you could buy. I’ve tried every single as-seen-on-TV thing you could order, and nothing worked.

So I saw it on Facebook and I had the day off and figured, well, I can at least go in for a consultation and see one more place and see if someone else could do something for me, and I did, and I met Nicky. [Music] She asked what do you want, what do you want out of these treatments, and I said honestly, I just want to be able to walk out of my house and not feel like they’re looking at my skin. I want them to look at me, and she just kind of chuckled a little and went through the whole process of this is what the BBL does, this is why it works differently for different people because we have all these different types of lights and types of treatments that we can combine to make it work for you.

So we did it, I signed up for it, and we did a total of five treatments. And then we also added, each time we added something different as far as skincare, and so we added a little bit of the ZO skin better science products. And I took every photo every day for six months, and all of a sudden, you could see it. By the third and fourth treatment, I was like, ‘Oh my, oh my god, it’s actually working.’ I’ve dealt with this my whole life, it’s just pretty nice to walk out in my house now and not have to feel like I’m being stared at for reasons I don’t want.

Oh my god, why am I crying now? I can walk into work and I can talk to my co-workers and I can talk to my patients, and they don’t see that. They see me, someone that they can relate to. I don’t know, I don’t know how to explain it, they changed my life. This might sound silly because it’s just acne, everyone has acne, everyone deals with acne, but when it changes who you are and how you feel, it’s just, it’s not easy. I’m gonna get emotional, you gotta cut that out.

I think a lot more men would, would address these problems if they knew that this was okay to address the problem. You know what I mean? That it wasn’t a weird place to go into. And it’s not just for females. About 35 years old, I started seeing redness all over my forehead and particularly my side. That would be in your window when you’re driving. I went to a dermatologist. I went to my doctor. I, my sister’s actually a licensed nurse practitioner. She gave me a bunch of dietary things to follow. I mean, I did everything. I didn’t do niacin anymore. I stopped eating gluten, I stopped eating everything I thought might be contributing rather to my red face. When the dermatologist saw me, took about four seconds without a biopsy. I said, that’s sun damage, that’s environmental damage. And he basically gave me that there’s no hope. He said, you might wanna talk to a plastic surgeon about whitening or lightening the skin. That’s about as best answers as he gave me. And no real, you know, aftercare after that. Just like, Hey, well go look around. I didn’t have a direction. I didn’t know where to go. I called local people. I put an ad on Facebook, really, really putting my feelers out there and doing my own homework online, trying to find what lasers work best for this kind of thing. And then I came to find out the best laser for the job is what they have here. Unbeknownst to me, I was told a quandary of different things that I wasn’t told at other places. I, I was armed with knowledge. I was armed with actual information, not just the procedure was done and I felt better about it. I got a game plan now, and that’s rare. You know what I mean? That’s rare. You usually leave with questions instead of answers or from a place like this. I left with some answers and I felt solid. And had I never gotten that knowledge, I’d still be in the dark. The real question is, are you happy with you? You know, are you being the best you, you could be? And I think a lot of guys would easily just sweep things under the rug. And I think me being a guy that came and did it, I could be a spokesperson for it. I tell anybody that’ll ask me, yes, here’s how bad I looked. Look at it. Look what it looks like now. Here’s where I am. Here’s where I came from. And if you have an insecurity, don’t, don’t be shy. Don’t be why we live once. Why sit at home and be miserable? You know what I mean? I found honesty here, bedside manner. I found aftercare. I found when I called, they remembered my name. They remembered who I was. That was huge. And I probably would’ve come back even if the results were way less, just because I had a good experience.
